El mapa mental de tu colonia
Recuerdas "there is / there are" de U3: sirve para decir qué hay. Aquí lo completas con dónde está y cómo llegar. Tres piezas: los lugares (nombres), las preposiciones (relación espacial) y el imperativo (indicaciones). Repaso veloz: "There is a pharmacy" (uno) / "There are two banks" (varios).

| Lugar | ¿Para qué va uno? | Oración útil |
|---|---|---|
| pharmacy | comprar medicinas | The pharmacy is next to the bakery. |
| library | estudiar o prestar libros | Is there a library near here? |
| market | hacer mandado | We buy fruit at the market. |
| bus stop | esperar el camión | Turn right at the bus stop. |
| park | pasear | The park is opposite the school. |
Preposiciones de lugar: dónde queda
- next to = al lado de · between = entre (dos cosas) · opposite = enfrente de.
- on = sobre/encuadrado en una calle: "It's on Hidalgo Street." · in front of = delante de.
Turn left. Cross the street." Para negar: "Don't turn right." Y para cerrar: "It's on your left."
The bank is ___ the bakery and the pharmacy (queda en medio de las dos).
¿Cuál instrucción manda a seguir de frente?
"Turn right at the bus stop" significa que debes girar justo al llegar a la parada de autobús.
Completa la indicación: straight on and left at the park. (avanza… gira…)
Une cada lugar con la ubicación que le describe.
