| Cuantificadores | some afirmativo / any negativo y pregunta | some photos; any windows? |

2. Reading: 'The new neighbor' and 'the old house'
The new neighbor. The woman who moved in next door is difficult to forget. She is short and quite heavy, with long curly gray hair and small dark eyes. She isn't unfriendly, but she is very quiet: she never talks to anyone in the street, and her face looks tired, like she is always bored with the world. Inside, however, everyone says her little house is full of life.
The old house. Her house is the oldest building on the street. There are no curtains on the ground-floor windows, and there is a big wooden sign with a black cat painted on it. Upstairs there are five small rooms, and there isn't any modern furniture: there is an old sofa, two wooden chairs and some enormous bookshelves everywhere. In the kitchen there are dozens of jars with strange labels, and in the garden behind the house there is a cat of every color. The neighbors joke: that shy, bored old woman and her cats are the most cheerful thing on our street.

4. Error correction: ¡a detectar!
Un compañero escribió esta descripción con cuatro errores de la unidad: 'My grandmother lives in a house beautiful. There has a big garden behind the house and there is many flowers in it. She is very happily and friendlys.'
|---|---|
| house beautiful | posición del adjetivo |
| There has | there is / there are |
| there is many flowers | concordancia is/are + plural |
| happily / friendlys | adjetivo invariable y forma correcta |
5. Tu producción: describe to guess
| Criterio | Excelente (10) | Suficiente (6-7) | A mejorar (0-5) |
|---|---|---|---|
| There is / there are | Formas y concordancia impecables | Uno o dos errores | Errores frecuentes o uso de have |
| Adjetivos | Posición, orden y opuestos correctos | Errores menores | Adjetivos pluralizados o pospuestos |
| Cuantificadores y preposiciones | some/any y lugar consistentes | Confusiones aisladas | Ausentes o sistemáticamente erróneos |
¿Qué fue más difícil: describir personas (adjetivos) o lugares (there is/are + preposiciones)?
Piensa en 'La sala está bonita' vs. 'The living room is beautiful / there is a sofa in the living room'.
