Model script · "Why our school needs a garden"
A 90-second presentation. Notice every signpost:
Good morning, everyone. My name is Ana, and today I'd like to talk about something that could change how our school feels: a learning garden. There are three points I want to cover: why a garden helps us learn, what it would cost, and how we could build it together. To begin with, the learning. Research shows that time outdoors improves concentration, and as you can see on this slide, our own courtyard sits empty for hours every day. Moving on to the cost: this might sound expensive, but in fact a first bed can be made from donated pallets and seeds, so the real investment is our time, not our money. This leads me to my final point — how we build it. With a weekend of work and a rota of volunteers, any class could care for a small plot. To sum up, a garden is cheap, it helps us focus, and it belongs to all of us. The one thing I'd like you to take away is this: we already have the space; all we need is the decision. Thank you — I'd be glad to take any questions.
Detrás del guion
- "I'd like to talk about" (hook) + "There are three points…" (roadmap): el público ya sabe cuánta ruta falta.
- "To begin with" → "Moving on to" → "This leads me to": los 3 signposts de transición, uno por punto.
- "as you can see on this slide": signposting visual (aunque no haya diapositiva, entrena el hábito).
- "To sum up" + "The one thing I'd like you to take away": recap con UNA idea memorable.
Voz, ritmo y nervios
