Privacy policy

Last reviewed: October 29, 2026. This text describes what lumbre.lat does today, as it is built. Leer esta política en español.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Fernando Castro García, based in Mexico, who operates this site under the name Lumbre Software. You can write to [email protected] or send a WhatsApp message to +52 33 1191 8267.

What is stored on your device

The site is static: there are no user accounts and no customer database. Your cart, the details you type at checkout and your light or dark theme preference are kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage), not on a server. They stay on your device until you delete them or press Empty cart. Clearing this site's storage in your browser settings removes them completely.

What PayPal receives

At checkout, the name, email, phone and company you entered are sent to PayPal along with the products and quantities. PayPal processes that data as the payment controller and keeps it under its own privacy policy. Lumbre sees the order inside its PayPal account in order to deliver your license and download.

What the server logs

Apache records the IP address, time, requested page and downloaded file, together with the browser that made the request. That log is the standard one for any website and is used to count downloads and detect abuse. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this domain.

Downloads

Installers are served from this same server. No one else is involved in the download, and no email or registration is required to get a free program.

Email and WhatsApp

If you write by email or WhatsApp, Lumbre keeps the message and the contact details you choose to give in order to answer the question and follow up. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with third parties.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of the data Lumbre holds about you (PayPal orders and the emails or messages we exchanged), and you may object to its use. Write to [email protected], send a WhatsApp message to +52 33 1191 8267 or open a ticket at soporte.lumbre.lat. To delete what is on your device, just clear this site's storage.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes how it handles data, this page is updated along with the review date above. The current version is always the one published at lumbre.lat/privacy.html.
